Workforce Development

The Milestone Workforce Development program will aim to train and place community members from within the targeted community in necessary positions for career success. This will occur within the STEP UP program, as well as outside of this particular programming.
Milestone Community Development has developed a long-lasting partnership with North Central University which is hosted in the community Milestone aims to serve. The partnership that has been cultivated will transparently assist with providing career skill staining for community members.

The initial programming that has been developed by North Central is their COBAT Program. This program provides professional level training for community members to be specifically trained in technology. This program will also provide those who go through it with career opportunities; providing them a position within a small business or corporate environment based on the partnerships already created.

Further, specified training in Marketing and Project Management will be discussed and developed for future certification programming developed by North Central University. This will allow those engaging the program with the opportunity to jump into a position in their career field of choosing.
This program will equip community members to be prepared for well paid and reliable career positions. In this way, community members will be ready for excessive career opportunities when companies they are in need of hiring employees.
